The following photos were taken from January 27 - March 29th 2008

Photo Taken while anchored at Tenacanita Bay February 08.  Tropical Dance in foreground.  The Gold Coast stretches from Puerta Vallarta to Acupulco.
Flying back to the boat. Altata entrance below. We tried to enter on our way from La Paz but the entrance is difficult and a small ship ran aground blocking our path.
Leaving Puerta Vallarta Marina
Our boat maintenance guys while in PV
La Cruz marina under construction, PV. We stayed here for 2 months
Our slip in the new marina at La Cruz
The square in La Cruz. A great Gringo Mexican town.
Reys favorite Ceveche place at La Cruz
Dans favorite taco place in La Cruz
Reylyn wanted to purchase this building, fix it up making a hotel/restaurant. Living in La Cruz would be a great lifestyle.
Punta Ipala. First stop after Puerta Vallarta
Dans downwind rig. The headsail sheet attached to the end of the boom. Attaching the sheet to the end of the boom is a great rig for downwind sailing.
Sitting in a beachside palapa bar in ‘Bahia De Chamela’. Tropical Dance anchored offshore. Don’t know who those people are in the foreground.
Looking down the beach at Bahia De Chamela’ Great palapa restaurants and 90 cent beer.
View from our anchorage at ‘Bahia Careyes’ Anchored at the old Club Med. Club Med was torn down 5 years ago and a wealthy Mexican now owns the property.
Dinner aboard ship at Careyes
Swimming pool at hotel in Careyes
We stayed for the sunset and had Margaritas at the hotel.
Beautiful home on the hillside at Careyes.

On to ‘Bahia De Navidad’
heading into the lagoon.
The beach at Bahia De Navidad
This fisherman rowed by our boat at sunrise with his friend and companion, a heron, waiting for scraps.
On to the resort of Las Hadas. Brought back memories. I lived here working for Playboy in 1994
View looking toward Manzanillo from our anchorage at Las Hadas
Reylyn liked the pattern in the pavement at Las Hadas
Rey in one of the hallways of Las Hadas at sunset
While I was at Las Hadas in 1994 there was a hurricane. I saved this shop and all its gold and silver. Very proud of myself. I didn’t take anything.
Toward the lobby at Las Hadas. Did we mention that the movie 10 was filmed here?
Taking on water at Las Hadas, Manzillo Mexico
Dingy raftup at Bahia De Santiago, just 2 miles north of Las Hadas. Lots of boats that get together each evening as a reason to party.
Happy cruisers at the raftup. I believe that most were heading back north and home again. The entire group cruises here every year. Georgetown of the Pacific.
The power plant at Manzinillo. Sometimes the coal burning plant blocks the sun in downtown Manzinillo.
We had the spinnaker repaired in Barra de Navidad and this was the first time we had a chance to use it. Heading south along the Mexican Gold Coast
Arriving in Zjuatanejo Bay we took a photo of the sunset.

Just the end of another day in paradise.
Jimmie Mamu entertaining at Ricks bar, a cruisers hangout in Z-Town. Jimmie is kind of a Ray Charles/Chuck Berry entertainer. He plays for tips and is appreciated by all.
View from our boat in Zjuatanejo Mexico
Another view from the boat. Great homes on the hillside.
View off the back of the boat at downtown Zjuatanejo Mexico.
The best hamburgers in Z-Town
Reylyn looking around at some jewelry to purchase. The problem with Zjuatanejo is that Cruise Ships frequent the place and everything if overpriced.
Reylyn and Dan on the Kings beach in Z-Town. A small bay was made as a personal swimming area for the royal family. A 500’ sheltering breakwater was made by hand
Steve and Denise from SV Brendon along with Reylyn and Dan having sundowners on the Kings beach in Z-Town.
